Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth.
— Muhammad Ali

I am a compassionate mental health professional with over 20 years of experience serving both military and civilian communities. My career has given me the opportunity to support veterans and diverse populations as they navigate career transitions, life challenges, and personal growth. Through my work as a Vocational Development Specialist in the VA Office of Mental Health, I’ve had the privilege of helping veterans secure meaningful employment and successfully reintegrate into civilian life. Now, as a Health System Specialist for the Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Academic Affiliations, I oversee educational programs that enhance workforce development and leadership training.

My background also includes leadership roles as a Program Analyst for USAID and a Program Manager for Human Resources Consulting, Inc., where I managed large-scale government contracts. My military service as a U.S. Army Reserve Component Career Counselor further strengthened my skills in transition assistance, career counseling, and empowering individuals to thrive in new environments.

I hold a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California and a Master of Science in Psychology from the University of Phoenix. This unique combination allows me to approach therapy through both practical and emotional lenses. I specialize in career transitions, veterans’ mental health, leadership development, and helping clients adjust to life’s challenges.

In my practice, I create a supportive, client-centered space where individuals can explore their strengths, build resilience, and develop actionable strategies for success. I’m here to help you move forward with clarity and confidence—because I believe everyone has the power to create meaningful change in their lives.
